- Voice data — audio recordings processed to deliver real-time voice coaching conversations.
- Course content — materials you upload or connect so VoiceLearn can transform them into interactive coaching practices.
- Usage data — interaction logs, practice history, and device information that help us improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the VoiceLearn voice coaching service. Specifically, we use your data to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Generate personalized voice coaching practices from your course content.
- Process and respond to your voice inputs during coaching practices.
- Communicate updates, support, and service changes.
- Monitor and improve service reliability and quality.
3. Third-Party Services
VoiceLearn relies on trusted third-party providers to operate core parts of the service:
- Clerk — handles authentication and identity management.
- ElevenLabs — processes your voice audio and transcript text in real time to generate the coach’s spoken responses during coaching practices. ElevenLabs retains data according to their privacy policy. VoiceLearn does not store your raw audio — it is streamed to ElevenLabs for real-time processing and is not retained on our servers.
- Self-hosted infrastructure — hosts our database and application servers.
Each provider processes data only as necessary to deliver their respective service and in accordance with their own privacy policies.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain the following data until you request deletion:
- Practice transcripts — the text of your coaching conversations, stored in our database.
- Practice metadata — timestamps, duration, and coach association for each practice.
- Learner progress — topic milestones and coverage status across your coaches.
- Account information — name, email, and role.
Raw audio is not stored by VoiceLearn. It is processed in real time by ElevenLabs and discarded. ElevenLabs may retain data according to their own privacy policy.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@voicelearn.ai. Upon a verified deletion request, we will remove your data from our systems and instruct our third-party processors, including ElevenLabs, to do the same, except where retention is required by law.
